I bumped into designer Jennifer Behr at a New Year's Eve party to which she wore this Swarovski crystal and fluorescent grosgrain headband. Turns out, she’d crafted the piece as a one-off, just for herself. (It's the kind of labor-intensive item—tiny leaves hand-stitched to a band that’s also wrapped by hand—that you'd only make once.) I flipped for the contrast of the fruit punch-colored ribbon against the gunmetal-plated crystal accents. It’s beyond the beyond. And I insisted that she make the style available to you, dear reader. While the seamstresses in her atelier may not thank me for the extra work, I'm sure you will.
