A colleague who popped by my office and saw these black patent wedges with their lime plastic adornments (the biggest disks are more or less the size of the bottom of a bottle of Smartwater) sitting on my desk called them “a carnival.” I couldn’t have said it better myself, although I will note that the ankle ties add sophistication to all the fun.
