The spring collection from designer Alberta Ferretti’s contemporary line was a sea of chinoiserie. But even among the bright cheongsam dresses, printed conical hats and jewel toned silk playsuits emblazoned with fire-breathing dragons, these shoes really stood out. The contrasting prints and ample platforms are equal parts Eastern promise and 1960s poolside chic. Or, to put it another way, Beijing meets Palm Springs.
