A very good friend of mine taught a class at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to children for many years called "Pause for Pegasus." She introduced the students to myths by showing them works depicting stories in The Iliad and The Odyssey. I know she would adore these earrings. The sculpting of the bodies is beautiful and the way they attach to your ears is amazing. The posts are hidden behind hinged wings and the creatures fly away from your face to the left and the right. They are the most magical version of the heroic horse I have ever seen.
