At a party last week, a woman showed me her stunning '70s gold bracelet watch with a malachite dial. When I said, "What a beautiful Piaget," she was impressed I knew the designer. But really, it wasn't difficult to identify. No other time crafter made such exceptional jeweled watches as Piaget during the disco era. Now, Piaget is at it again. If someone showed up at a shindig wearing this jeweled watch, I would know from across a crowded room the designer was Piaget.
