When Debra Messing commissioned Aurora Lopez Mejia to make a ring with a fire opal, the designer asked, “How patient are you?" Fabulous fire opals are difficult to find. That was years ago, recently Mejia found another amazing fire opal and transformed it into a powerful pendant engraved with the word "Imagine" on the gem and uplifting words on the back like "Inspire"—which is fitting considering all the outfits this dynamic necklace would inspire.
