Growing up in Connecticut, I had a natural affection for the preppy pink and green color combo. I shed my sweet pastels for brighter hues when I moved to New York, but something about the palette always draws me back. Marni's acetate shades appeal to my inner suburbanite while adding urban cool with richer tones like putty and teal. Since I couldn't choose just one pair, I'd alternate hues throughout the week—which means there'll be a little less room in my suitcase when I travel home for a visit.
