On a recent visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum jewelry gallery in London, one of the most amazing pieces I saw was a blue ribbon and diamond garter. Knights once wore the style around their calf as a symbol of rank. To celebrate the queen's jubilee, English designer Solange Azagury-Partridge refashioned this romantic emblem into a small collection of white gold, diamond and guilloché enamel jewels. My favorite among them is the trim tiara. It would be my way of keeping up with the gilded hair accessories.
