I am enjoying my final summer getaway in Concord, Massachusetts. One of the attractions of the historical town is Walden Pond, the serene spot where Henry David Thoreau became one with nature. Yesterday, after taking an epic swim from one side of the pond to the other, I saw a big snake in the water. Funnily enough, I didn’t freak. I thought it was rather beautiful. And in my jewelry centric mind, it gave me a complete understanding of Peretti’s classic snake necklace—a piece I have always wanted to add to my collection.
